Hello folks! Well I had a doctors appointment a couple months back and I will soon go back to get a follow up appointment due to my cholesterol screening. I have high cholesterol I guess from eating fast food, and fried foods. It's hard to change your way of eating when you get so used to comfort food. So now what I'm trying to do to reduce my cholesterol level is to eat oatmeal w/ milk at least once a day, which I eat for breakfast. I am also taking omega 3 with flaxseed and olive oils to help reduce cholesterol. I hope it helps =) .

hi! there was a time that i had oatmeal for breakfast and snacks but then i grew tired of preparing the meal. it didn't help that i only eat the plain oatmeal or the chocolate flavored one so i grtew tired of the taste as well. anyway, i've since made a commitment to at lest have two servings of oatmeal a day. i'll just get the quick cooking type so i don't take too much time preparing these. before, i really coudln't start the day without oatmeal.even if i have breakfast with rice, eggs, or sausages, i still have to have my bowl of oatmeal. oatmeal!!! yum!!!!!

Hi! Thanks for the response... Yea oatmeal gets tiring especially if you try to eat it every morning. I just prepare it with skim or low fat milk and then pop it in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes. Sometimes I add sugar for the a sweeter taste. Lots of people hate oatmeal like I did when I first started eating it. But now I got so used to it and I love it.

My parents eat that too. Better give yourself a time for exercise and eat veggie and fruits to gain a healthy balance diet. Drinking alot of water is a plus too.

I know the oatmeal helps. The other three things that you are taking are very good for you in many ways. I need to get better with my eating, I work out all the time I just not need to eat a healthy diet and then I am good to go.
