I didnt know where to put this... but I will explain my story and then ask the question. My daughter is 5 months old. Since she was in the womb, she has had difficulties. First difficulty was when I was about 2 weeks to my due date. She had a ton of fluid in her right kidney. They ended up inducing me 6 days before my due date. Had her at 5 days though. Well my daughter at 2 months old was having problems with throwing up all the time and we didnt know what it could be. We switched her over to SOY formula and that seemed to help a bit, but she was still throwing up (just not as much) - from the throwing up she ended up being hospitalized for a night for partial dehydration. Well - she is now 5 months old, at 4 months doctor told me to start her on the baby cereals. We tried everything - she throws it all back up. My question is, what else can I give her right now that will help her with this. I have tried giving her regular baby food (veggies) and that seems to work, but she wants more CONSTANTLY... I wanna give her a variety, but dont really have that much money to get her the veggies to try right now... any recommendations?

I would honestly try some mashed potato's made with her formula. Make them kinda of thin and runny! I had this same problem with my daughter and after taking her to a few doctors and getting no results I asked my b/f mother and she told me to try that and it worked I slowly made them a little thicker as she got older. She got full and got vitamins! Good luck!

she is prob crying cause she is not getting full! I snuck in gravy every once in a while. And well my daughter can even drink milk now but for a long time all she did was throw up. I also made infant cereal with broths like chicken or beef to give it a little flavor. I would get creative sometimes that's what it takes. Good luck Hun!
