hold down the "Alt" button....type the 4 numbers while still holding down the "Alt" button.........when you release the "Alt" button, your letter will appear. I don't think you can do capital letters. Alt + 0228 = ä Alt + 0246 = ö Alt + 0252 = ü Alt + 0223 = ß

hi! do you need a capitalized Ü or a small ü? try this: turn numlock "on" in your keyboard. press "alt" (hold it) while you key in 0220 or 154 for capitalized Ü and for the small one, press "alt" while you key in 0252 to get a ü. hope this works for you. goodluck!

I need a capitalized one...I tried what you dais but it didn't work...do you have any other tricks up your sleeve? It's to put in the password section where you set up outlook for your email...I have a prepaid wireless connection so I don't think I can change the pasword :(

oh wait... are u using a laptop or a desktop pc? i think you must use the numeric keypad in the keyboard when you key in the number code... can you try it again? let me know if it still doesn't work and i'll try to pull another rabbit out of the hat. :)
