I don't! At least for India per se. I have a strong feeling (It has been proved on numerous occasions) that the Indian mediapersons are a bunch of hypocrites; especially when it comes to politics and religion. A classic example is that of Narendra Modi. He's the best leader ever we've got since independence. And yet the media is always up in arms against this very man, turning a convenient blind eye to all the great work he's done all these years. Modi is just the tip of the iceberg. There are numerous instances in store. And it's no wonder since many news agencies in India are funded by Christian groups of the West. But at least they should've been a lil' logical. How's the situation in your nation? I bet not the same.

i can say with certainty that all the media houses in India deny the truth and promote sectarianism, communalism, minorityism and act as propoganda mouth piece for communists, congress party and terrorists. the social issues they raise have no relevance in the present day. classic example is the Arushi muder case in Delhi. CNN-IBN claimed they were the first one to bring the murder out in the open and they accused the father of the murdered girl, her family and family friends as party to murder. CNN-IBN said Arushi's father had an affair with a family friend and to hide this affair he murdered her. in the end after the CBI enquiry it was found out that the murder was carried out by someone. CNN-IBN even misled the police. this is not the first time they have sensationalised events like this. CNN-IBN, NDTV are foremost in attacking Narendra Modi and spreading false rumours about godhra riots and kandhamal riots. but look at Gujarat now, its almost 7 years that we heard about a communal riot there. What is the reason? if you punish the rioteers, then it will stop. Narendra Modi did just that. Yes, he is the best Politician India has seen since Independence. He means business. So vested interests hate him. CNN-IBN and NDTV, both are funded by christian groups from US. so its natural that they give more weightage to spread rumors to malign the majority hindus. the solution to this menace will be to bring down the foreign ownership in media to just 5% cumulative of the shareholding. there is no necessity for foreign money in media.

Tulipstrader You always keep me wondering, how on earth do you manage to store so much of info in your brains. Pal, when did you find the time to learn all this. Wish I could learn a bit from you! And I guess even star network and times group (Bennett Coleman ) are pro-Christian basically. And now that you've mentioned it, I'll add another name to the list. It's Mr. Balasaheb Thackeray. Agreed, his views are too hard hitting and sometimes prejudiced, particularly against Muslims and Pakistan. However, he's one of the few leaders of our nation who do not hesitate to call a spade a spade. And as far as I've known him, he never minces with his words and his party decisions are always in accordance with his ideology. (At least as of today) I fear you'll now present a huge list of such leaders :P Your brain at work, right?

if you know history well, then you will call a spade a spade. indian history which we learned at schools and colleges and what is still taught is pure rubbish. many books are banned as it exposes the most celebrated leaders of india. very few media houses in india are pro-hindu. till 1996 was a guy who believed in secularism and other partisan ideals. it was then i got a chance to read many conflicting views and decided to stand aside and analyze everything. its true there are few hindus who are just as fanatical as christians and muslims. apart from it, hindus are the best. that is because their faith is not evolved from forgery, deceit, deception and lies. its more of a spiritual journey. so the necessity of false god, scriptures do not arise. also spiritualism do not require media attention and propaganda, as it is very personal experience. If you tell truth, you dont have to remember it. media forgets this fact. this is where we, the people have a role to play.

HEEELLLLL NO! We have a number of news networks here and they are all pretty much junk, propaganda wings for rich idealogicly bound people with an agenda and mouth pieces for the government. I have found lately I get more solid and relevent information from the tin foil hat crowd, not only more acurate, but stuff you won't hear about in commercial media.

Ow that was a first! I'd thought the U.S. is at least average on this front, if not the best. Sigh! It seems the 'Hypocrisy Syndrome' in journalism is gradually catching ground across the world. We need reforms!!
