Yesterday, I installed EASY PEASY on my Asus EEEPC 4G (netbook). I didn't like the Xandros Distribution beacuse I consider myself an advanced user and I like having the control of my computer. It's easy to install and powerfull. I like it. What distro have you?

I have normal Ubuntu's desktop installation on my Acer Aspire One. I'm planning to change it to netbook remix installation. I've been waiting if the Xandros based Eee Linux comes out someday. It's simple but not that simple my default distro is. I just wonder if Eee Linux is Xandros because it had apt and it shouldn't have because I think that it's based on Fedora. I may be wrong.

I think that Easy Peasy is better than Xandros distro. It's more powerful and I can give better perfomance for my netbook. Sometimes, I use it for work, with Easy Peasy I have remote desktop and other utilities, I can install or remove apps. With Xandros distro I can't do anything, Xandros haven't console!! How I can run any command as superuser if i can't console? Xandros distro is cool for people that only want chat or surf or do little jobs with openoffice or read mail, but when you're an advanced user, this distro is little "short". Maybe I need buy other netbook for work, but i won't, I like Asus EEEPC 4G (it's new, I need worn a little first!! :P) Thanks for share your experience, I think that netbooks, depending on use, are the future

Compliments of being required to have Windows for work, I have XP installed on my primary comp, but I'm usually running Ubuntu's standard desktop (9.04 Desktop) inside a virtual box on it.
