Why is it my fault that my partner has a dream that I'm cheating?!?!

Anybody else ever go through this? It drives me nuts! My better half woke up today and told me this dream she had last night. Here's the dream: We were on vacation visiting my brother and his wife. My sister-in-law drove me to the nearby mall because I wanted to buy something for my better half. I told her I'd call her in an hour to pick me up. Time went by. One hour, 2 hours and I never called. So, they decided to come and look for me. My better half and my sister in law drove to the mall. On the way, they passed a Greyhound bus station and there I was! Drunk out of my mind, getting ready to get on the bus with somebody else. That's the dream. How is this MY fault!!!?!?! Lol. I swear I got dirty looks for 2 hours this morning and I didn't have anything to do with it!

Hello veromar, yes my b/f has had dreams of me cheating on him when I was asleep right next to him.
Well your partner might be having feeling of insecutity, not necessarily with you but maybe a job or something she has a fear of losing. I have also had dreams like that when I was married before to my real cheating EX spouse.

That's the thing I don't understand.....we're in bed together! lol. How could I possibly be cheating?!!?! lol. I agree that it's some insecurity that bugging her. We've been together for 9 years and know each other pretty well. It drives her crazy when she's telling me her dreams (it's happened more than once, I have to hide my smile. We usually end up having a good chuckle about it after thoroughly talking about it. Sorry you had a cheating spouse. Fortunately for us, that's never been an issue.
