Why peoples all times try to have what they have already?because of couriosity?

Is a question i ask myself many times.
If you have a beatiful wife, who love you , adore you why you want other woman?
If you have a faithful husband, who worship you, why you want to know other man?
If you have a nice and comfortable life, why you want change it?
If you have a dog why you want a cat?
So...why peoples want all the time what they must ask and make efforts to got...if they already have something better in theirs life?

i think it is a natural human desire to always better yourself and develop. however it is also natural emotions such as greed and jealousy and boredom mixed with desire. i think that everybody needs a small amount of ambition but it is very difficult to settle and be content. they say that you never know what you have til its gone. They also say the grass isnt always greener on the other side.
And finally ... remember curiosity killed the cat!

People have been like that from the begining of time i think. they just don't know what they want and keep looking for something better.Or they just don't care for anything but themselves.
