Steven Gerrard claims that he would consider quitting Liverpool if he was not convinced that the club can win the Barclays Premier League under Rafael Benitez. Liverpool will move level on points with MU at the top of the table should they beat Westham United at Upton Park. However, while that would leave the champs with 2 games in hand, Gerrard is adamant that Sir Alex Ferguson's team will not have it all their own way in years ahead if Liverpool fail this season. Gerrard honestly believes in his heart of hearts that this team will win the premier league. He will get his hands on it. What will be the point of carrying on if he doesn't think the team is gonna win? They are so, so close to doing it this season, he certainly believes they can still nick it! He says if they don't, and United close it out, they're going to have a right good go at it over the next three, four or five years and he believes they're too good not to win it! ps: I love Steven Gerrard, he reminds me of someone I'd die for!

He's said this lots of times before though, hasn't he? There's no doubt that he is good enough to play in a Premiership winning side, but are the rest of the team - they always seem to get so close but never quite manage to win the league? Remember when he was about to move to Chelsea, and then changed his mind at the last minute because he decided that he loves Liverpool too much to leave it? That's why he'll always stay and give it his best - I don't think there's any team he'd rather play for.

Yeah, Steven Gerrard will never give up on Liverpool. I have a story to share. When he was a little boy, he asked his father for a MU jersey. His father slapped him right away!(wtf?) Since then, Gerrard has been supporting Liverpool all the way.
