in 2006 a well know person was murdered by his own younger brother then he went to police and surrendered himself and the gun also, the shot man died after battling for life for a few days in icu, brother was tried and convicted for the crime with life imprisonment,it can be a everyday story for us but i was surprised that the man had no repents whatsoever, rather he was calm and was okay with the crime,i still think how it is possible, with the people we have spent our childhood practically started our lives with them .... whats ur take???

I think those who are aware about Indian politics could well understand the meaning of your discussion. What you have written is quite right and I fully support your views. A brother murdering his real brother point blank is certainly unthinkable and cowardly and shameless act. He should be given the severest of the punishment.

It sure does. After a point life does seem meaningless. And knowing the person you are talking about makes things so much gross. How can people be so pathetic! All for fame, power, money!! I would rather call him sick and he needs help.

If I've learned one thing in life, it's that things are rarely as they seem! There could be any number of reasons behind why this person did what they did and sociopathic behaviours are far more common than a lot of us realise. For all we know, this man feels no shame for his acts because the act itself was deemed to be a lesser evil than his life with the person he killed? Some people just fester with discontent and over time, convince themselves that acts such as these are righteous. We can be our own worst enemy! Who knows WHAT may be the case here, but it's not an isolated one that's for sure.

it sure is not an isolated case but since this happened in our hometown and the murdered brother was a promising political bigwig of our country,i often think of this incident with an heavy heart.

Well, in this case, there must be a bitter happening between them. And I bet they are not close as a brother or there might be jealousy or sibling rivalry among them. The parents might have favorites, maybe the killed brother had done something bad against the killed. We don't know because things like these will not happen if there is no reason.

Killing is own brother and as if it is nothing and unrepentant. Tsk!tsk!tsk! How sad! I'm sure he will know the high price for the murder he committed when his already burning in hell.

Well Riya people are either born ruthless or driven to extreme acts of violence by various forces. One doesn't know what happened in the life of the person who killed his own brother. May be his brother would have been harassing him many ways and was tutoring him by various means. And ant the end of the day this person's patience snapped and in a violent burst would have taken the extreme step. It is only a guess and don't want to talk bad about a departed soul. I always think that the crimes are mostly not committed to an innocent person.

Congratulations on crossing the 10000 mark here. I just realized that today. I remember this incident that you are talking about. It happened near my office itself. The brother till today has no remorse at all about what he has done. I think the family bonding is not at all there now in this world. Everyone is only bothered about themselves.

i can not imagine a brother killing a brother, what was his reason or did he give one? i lost my sister in 1962. she was killed in a car wreck. i can't imagine ever harming her if she had lived.

It's just beyond comprehension and meaningless! I don't really know why certain individuals are so cold blooded to take lives of others especially a family member. It must be a freak of nature?...really don't know!

One never knows about other peoples' lives. Maybe the brother was a monster and it was worth anything for the killer to get rid of him.
