Why are there people who like to critisize you but not able to handle critism?

It's not that I don't know why some people are like this but sometimes it's outrageous that a person can call you something and you just keep quiet about it and when you notice that he acts the same way that he described you and you point it out to him, he'll get angry. I sometimes dont understand this people like these.

It is really harder to accept criticism because it is too personal for us. It badly affects our ego and can cause us to self pity and eventually low self esteem. If this is the case this makes us feel bad. As a human being we reject sadness and prefer to be happy. While with giving criticism, we ought to get the feeling of superiority over the person we are criticizing, we have high regards of ourselves and this makes us feel good about ourselves. As human we prefer pleasant things/feelings over unpleasant things/feelings.

It's ok to not be able to accept pleasant things but why do people not able to handle the same label the put on others.

Yeah this happens and i do not know why but those who tend to criticize others can not bear this when it is on them.simply they think they are perfect.But one should not be such if you think one will welcome your criticism than you also should be able to welcome others criticism ..but it is strange but i think criticizing other people is a waste of time a good way can be devised to convey what you think about others so negative feelings do not crop.

Yes it is a waste of time but some people do that to create the an illusion that he has the right to criticize others so that he can feed his ego.

First thing i wanna tell is good people do not criticize others. And you are too beautiful to be criticized. :-). The people who criticize others are really cheap, you should not pay any heed to them. just forget them as they never exist. There are others who are good. Try being a friend with them...!!! that does include me.
