how often do you do general cleaning at home?

i log in just at this moment for we had the general home cleaning the whole day.after a hard's days work, i relaxed through communicating friends at mylot.i've cleaned the window screens and floors and keep some clutters. it was a tough job.but it's not every day that we're doing that. my husband do the fixing works.how about you? how often do you do general cleaning at home?

whole day cleaning. OMG!!! give yourself some rest. i have only a single room which i only clean at Sunday's it take hardly 5 minutes. looks your home is really a big one. your husband is quite a helping one. you are lucky.

yes, i'm lucky to have a husband like him. he knows too well about house chores. he's more meticulous than me.

We clean our house every day but we can only do general cleaning after 3 months or so. It is not our hobby to keep trash or broken things, we dispose them immediately but the reason that we cannot do general cleaning every month is because all of us are working and in different time. Some are working early, coming home late and some are working late, coming home early. Nevertheless, we manage to keep our house clean because of my mom. She is a full time housewife and don't want to see things messy. Everyday, she will wipe out the displays and windows and change pillow cases, curtains and bed sheets every week. She is working really hard everyday but when I suggested that we get a maid, she said that she doesn't want one since she enjoy what she's doing. I am really lucky to have a mom like her!

you're too lucky really. but i think you need a house help for your mother needs to rest too. let her do some works but not all. we have the same kind of mother. i juts don't want her to do all the stuff.

we don't maids at home because it's an additional burden. hiring house helps here is very expensive and some don't do things by heart. that's why i think they're just rodents in my life.
