Should lovers get the permission from parents?

It is a good idea that lovers get permission from their parents. No good parents oppose to good and true love, and it is upto the boy and the girl not to hide the facts about their love. They should openly confide with their parents. Do you agree with my suggestion or disagree?

I think it is important to get parents' permission, especially if you're serious about the girl and wish the relationship will last further. That way you'll earn their respect and trust. Not much teenagers care to do that these days, you will be consider as a decent man if you do that. Besides, you're not doing anything wrong, what's wrong with asking for permission?
