whats your planning for the mothers day

We already have a plan to celebrate mother's day. I know that we missed it since it was actually yesterday, but we planned it for next weekend instead. I was not home because of work so we moved our celebration a week after the actual date :P One part of my gift for my mom is finally getting her this computer application that she wants, customized to her business needs. I'm doing it myself. It's not really a "gift" but it is, sort of. I also don't consider it as an "obligation" but I think that's how most people see it :P Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I'm taking my mom to lunch & the movie of her choice. A lady in my office makes cards as a hobby, really nice ones too. So I donated $5 to cancer research for a nice blue card with moons and stars, just like my mom likes. The lady at work won't sell them, but she'll make them and take donations. If my boys do anything for me (I'm their stepmom, so I don't expect it, they have moms and aren't rich), I'll be overjoyed. Sometimes the oldest one remembers me, and that always makes me happy.

IU planned to call her and talk for hours, but she called me first because she has something to give to her grant children...
