If today was your fathers last day would would you do?

With alot of my family members having health problems lately I have been thinking about things more. What if today was their last day or mine what would i do or say. I have started making peace with my father lately. Sadly he has abused his body all of his life. He has gone through five heart attacks and still continues to pop pills and make stupid mistakes. I have decided rather then feeling anger and getting mad to give him the love he never gave me as a child. I dont want to have any regrets in my life or know that I could have tried and didnt. My love is given to him no matter how bad he hurts my feelings he is still my father. If today was his last day I would tell him I loved him and that I always have. Im not sure when I will loose my father but I do know that it will be sooner rather then later. I just try to get a few good memories and take pictures when I can.

feel very sad to listen that,
i dont want to imagine ,
my parents had lefted me due to some misunderstandings ,
but they both are god for me.
i dont know wheather god has existence , but my parents have.

My parents didnt raise me my grandparents did and I consider myself lucky to have had them as my true parents. I still try with my dad cause I dont want that regret of not knowing him.

Cherish the time you have left with him, you are doing the right things. We can not change the past, but we can make today the best day that it can be. And you will not regret the pictures or the times you are spending with him. I would love to have that opportunity with my dad.

Sometimes being an adult isnt the easiest thing especially when you have to be more adult then your own father. I feel like im doing the right thing by showing his that I care.
