I rarely get out to check out the garage sales in the area but my mom wanted to check some out this afternoon. I figured since it was almost noon most garage sales would have nothing left worth buying. But I was wrong. We stopped at a garage sale hosted by our local cowboy church. It had began to rain a little and they wanted to get it closed down so they said you could stuff everything you could into a bag for 2.00. We stuff two bags full. I got myself a really nice dress shirt with the 20.00 tag still attached. A real nice church dress. Several shirts. several pairs of jeans, and a couple pairs of shorts. All for 4.00. What a bargain I got today! Have you ever got a garage sale bargain?

I hit the jackpot yesterday with my rummage sales. I found several things I was really looking for... Bigger clothes for my oldest for next winter, streach pants for my 3yo, pants for my 19mo old & pj's for all, I probably spent alot more than you did. However when the most expensive item I bought was .50 & even for BRANDNAMES! I did well ;0) You just need to know what you are looking for and how much you are willing to pay.

I love garage sales. I have found a few good bargains in the past few years. I would have to say that the best ones I've found were a box of kinex (kid's building toys) for $2.00, and a leapfrog learning system with three games for $5.00. I haven't been out at any sales lately, but plan to soon now that the weather is warmer.
