Do you buy bottled water and why?

I have well water, it is good water. I don't ever remember buying water. I see so many people buying water and always wonder if they do it because they have bad water at home or they rather spend money buying it? Or is it just the 'thing' to do?

I don't buy bottled water. My refrigerator has a water filter in it, so I just get my water from there. Also, many restaurants offer water free of charge!

Have you noticed that restaurants used to put out water automatically, now you have to ask for it. That's good because then it's not wasted. We have to save every and any amount of water we can.

Hi Greenhill, sometimes I buy bottled water in some grocery store or convenient store. why? hmm, Well, Basically, I am so thirsty that I really wanted to drink, until I am satisfied. And the bottle it is reusable, and you can recycle it. But for me I use it when I have an empty bottle, I use it in work, since we have free beverages, I use it at home since it is disposable. About the water since I don't have a water filter at my own house. I buy a Purified drinking water and sometimes a bottled water.

I guess if you are thirsty that's a good reason to buy a bottle of water. In the summer if we go for a ride I usually take a small cooler with water and soda. I hate paying the price for a bottle of water when I can take it from home for free. If you have free beverages at work that's fantastic. Have a good evening and thanks for responding...nice meeting you.

I have well water at my home. It seems good enough to drink, but our well recovery rate is very slow, so we buy bottled water. We use the big 5 gallon water bottles, not the individual bottles...too much waste for my taste. We have a water cooler and put the bottles on...the kids use less than if they had individual bottles to open.

Those big bottles w/cooler, lots of people have that. I guess it would be much cheaper that way compared to buying the small bottles.

It all depends on where you live, I have lived in 3 different areas and 2 had city water. Not something you want to drink from there, the water is gross! But now where we live we have well and the water tastes so much better.

I know what you mean about city water - it's full of chemicals. I know, that's supposed to be good, make sure the water is fit to drink, but I think they overdo it. Water is important and that's why I am very glad it's been raining a lot the past week - the lakes are full which is good. The ground is saturated so we can't even walk on the grass.

Yes, were using purified water, and we buy this to our local water station,Our source of water came from our local water district ..we use filter in our faucets and we can see rust deposits to the filter, thats why we thought of buying prified water for drinking.

The source of water in my locality is river .It is purified and then supplied to our taps.I use a filtaration device to filter it again. When i am travelling i buy a bottle of mineral water too .I do this to avoid problems like stomach upset due to change of water. And i think every body should buy a bottle of water when they are travelling and avoid drinking ordinary water.

I buy bottled water when I am out and I am thirsty. In United States water at home tastes horrible, I just do not like that taste, so I always go for bottled water. And in Mexico it is not safe to drink water from the tap, so You have to buy water.
