Regions of the United States and dealing with it!

There are different regions within the united states that have their peeves. Mine is living in Alabama which is humid and sometimes muddy due to rains. I come inside and I have red mud all over my feet. It doesn't matter what kind of shoe you wear. You are going to get mud on you? What's your regional peeve?
