One year before the 2010 Elections, our government together with the media and some private organizations have been very active in their campaign to convince people to exercise their right to vote. It is a sad reality that previous elections and its outcomes have made most of us disheartened and at the same time, caused a lot of Filipinos to stop trusting our government and its system. I have never voted in my life, but next year, it will be different. I will go out and vote. I will explore this new voting attitude :) Will you be voting in the coming 2010 Elections? Why or Why Not?

Hello russo, good day to you! I want to share my response with your discussion because I really find it very interesting! As we notice as of now, our country are experiencing the low economy rate which causes for the other citizen of our country to be suffer because of unemployment people and last it's because of the high value of goods that's why many people find it very hard to buy or to have some of it. In my own based opinion, One reason of this kind of a country problem is the government who manage the country. Honestly speaking I know most of the people here in our country know this particular thing, that some government officials are not doing their job and most of them corrupting some badget of people. With this particular matter, we given a opportunity to ask for something which is the truth. Well, like what you have said in your discussion you will be an instrument for the change of government, which is right because all people here in our country must be responsible in voting so we can see the good effect of it after voting them. Where many stablishment will be build and the job for poor people will be increase. Well, me this coming election of 2010. I can say that I will be one good instrument for the change just like you because I believed that in government the person must be right for the good position. By the way here in our community, I join a program who will tell to be a good voter and chooce the right person for a bettdr feature of the family. Well, that's all the end of my response here in your discussion. Happy posting and happy earning to everyone of us!

Kudos to you Jon for wanting to be an instrument of change and for also being part of an election-related program. I think that is a very good cause. I wish to be part of one too. :)

It will be the first time for me to vote for the Presidential Elections on 2010. I know that I am a registered voter because I already exercised my voting privilege a couple of years ago. I still don't know who to support, I want to hear their platforms and I want to know who their backers are. I do foretell that Noli de Castro will win :D So far, he's the most popular candidate I know and read on the news that Manuel V. Pangilinan will back him up :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

First of all, I'd like to say that you have created avery good topic. Even the title you have given is not very general. :) To answer the question, no, I am not. I haven't voted before. I haven't been watching the news for quite some time and really just before I sat in front of my PC they were discussing the speeches of the presidentiables and I really don't know who are they talking about.

Thanks ARTERIN. I'm sure you have your reasons why you wouldn't want to vote.

I will vote in the election. I usually vote I all the elctions. My vote whether popular or not has the right to be counted and I use the liberty I have been given to make a choice about who I would like to see in office.

Those were really bold words and a lot of our fellow Pinoys have yet to realize how important their choice can be.

It is really disheartening to hear how others treat election. To some, it is an opportunity to get back from politicians. There are those who think this is nothing but a circus thus they never take part on it. Still, I will try my best to be one of the instrument of change. I maybe insignificant in my own but I know that when I am integrated with all of the insignificant ones out there, our collective efforts will open the door for a change.

What you said was beautiful. I'm happy to see Filipinos who still believe in hope. And remember, you are not insignificant. You are important... every Filipino is.
