Have u seen this movie? whould you give up ur life in the city and isolate urself from civilization in a peacefull community? no electricity, internet, cell phones, etc.

i've not seen this movie...i wud love to go ther bt cant stay there forever,,,,coz i'm now used to bad habbits now...like u mentioned.

yeah definetely, im so used to society and things weve got here that i could really, never go to an isolated place, well maybe but just for a week or so, but thats it. i mean i like taking a bath everyday and having a car, etc, i just wouldnt be able to go back to the 15th century i would like to try it but just a week, no more

Would I do it? Heck no. Would I live isolated from people? I try to as much as I can. As far as the movie goes it was a bad ending in my opinion. Kind of lame and weak.

I really like Shymalan as a director but I have never seen The Village just because it got bad reviews and my friends wont let me watch it (because they hate it). In my opinion Im not one to live in the past. Im here to live in my time age not to relive someone else's.

"The Village" is one of my favorite movies. I personally would love to be able to isolate myself from the rest of civilization although I don't know if I could give up my internet access. Everything I can do without: my car (I hate to drive), my cell phone or my home phone (why do I have them I rarely use them lol), people and their bull....lol
