If you had to handle the war what would you do?

It seems that we went into Iraq based on wrong/inacurate information. If I remember, some British had a report stating that Sadaam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Even though Saddam was a somewhat cruel dictator as Iraq's President & did a lot of wrong things during his reign (such as not letting UN inspectors inspect), had a lot of people executed, etc. Daddy Bush had the chance to get rid of him back in 1991. I am sure that Daddy Bush left him in power after driving Sadddam out of Kuwait. That is, besides Sadaam surrendering & pulling out of Kuwait. The United States ended up with one other enemy in 1979-1980 - Iran. I am sure that if Junior Bush didn't attack Iraq & overthrow Saddam, the problems with (What's that guy's name again???) of Iran & his wanting nuclear technology would not be happening. Other effects "at home" include a failing US economy, & the rise in gas prices. Al in all, I think Bush went into Iraq so he could say, "Daddy Daddy I finished the job that you did not complete when you were President" Well - there have been more mistakes made than anything else, & even Iraq's new president seemed to disagree with a lot of Junior Bush's plans. The insurgency seems to be a bad mess, but the troops should be brought back home as soon as possible.
