digital camera help....

i like the nikon coolpix, sony cybershots and the canon powershots...anyone have any of these and would u recommend them or no? what's the difference with higher megapixels? any suggestions plzzzz....i'm desperate and clueless and willing to only spend 175 lol!

I'd reco getting a Canon. That's my suggestion based on experience. I am very much satisfied with Canon's digital cameras. A Canon camera is easy to use and batt life lasts longer compared to Sony.
I think you'll be good with a 5.1 Megapixel cam. That will already print nice photos. One does not really need a digicam that has uber high resolution -- unless you'd be printing a billboard. Lol. Hope I was able to help.

Hi, russso, I agree with you, I'm using Canon too, a DSLR; Canon's DC is quite user friendly.
