how does ciao works anyway?

Hi friends,
I realized that many of you is a member of ciao.com. One thing that I know about ciao is that we have to write reviews. Can you tell me how do they calculate the earnings? I mean is it paid per review or is it paid after your review have had some number of visitor? Enlighten me, guys...

If ciao hasn't changed their earnings rules then earnings in ciao review site is based on how many readers you have and the ratings your review gets. You can also earn for being active on the site rating others review. They also offer bonuses for exceptional ratings your review gets. I think it's $5 per review.
I am a member of the site but I have stopped making reviews. They have banned members from Asia due to plagiarism.
