Would working out might reduce your stress level?

A friend of mine told me another method of reducing stress. Why not sign up with a gym nearby your house, and work yourself out as tired as possible. Because when you are sweating, and keeping yourself moving, you might forget all the unpleasant matters at the moment. After a long hours exercise, you might just go on home and get some good night sleep. Next morning, you just feel as refresh. That is one way you can try.

Working out always helps reducing stress..cause it relaxes your body and mind and diverts on other activity, forgetting the stressful source.

I think a good work out is a great way to get rid of stress. When I'm stressed I find myself doing sit ups or getting on my rowing machine, it really helps and you feel a great after-wards.

Yes, I agree. Exercising is a great stress reliever. Even just a small amount of exercise can help a great deal. I recently joined a gym and find it helps a lot with reducing stress. Because of the demands on my time, I can't go every day and I can't stay for long periods when I go...That's because we have four little ones here at home. Anyways, I aim for a 28 minute workout and I find it amazing when you realize how much that bit can help.

Working out is awesome stress relief. When it gets tense in my house I usually go for a run which helps reduce the stress, but I have to say the main benefit would be getting away from the problem in general. If I'm still stressing after I get back I do push ups, sit ups, maybe even pay the punching bag a visit.
