What is the latest news on windows 7?

Is Windows 7 going to be released shortly this year or later on in this year? Does anyone have the information about this Windows? In comparison of Windows Vista, which one would you prefer? Windows 7 or Windows Vista?

Windows 7 will definitely be released this year, at least, for enterprises. It may also be released in the fourth quarter to the consumer market, but it may be moved to 2010. I would prefer Windows 7 over Vista, because Windows 7 is faster, more secure, and more elegant-looking. Windows Vista has also been a near-failure, which is why many companies want to stick with XP.

I've beeen using Windows 7 Rc1 build 7100 for the last two weeks now and I got to say It's Excellent. Works like a charm and with the XP mode you won't have compatibility issues. There is no good reason to stick with Vista or even XP!

I don't know anything about windows 7. I have windows vista now. I used to have windows 98 on my old computer. I sure like windows vista better. Happy mylotting! Kathy.
