Meet Your Chat Friends in Real???

I have some online chatting friends with whom I have been friends for years. And I feel so lucky to have the chance to meet some of them in real life in the past few years. I think it's a great experience to finally meet the people I have been chatting with for years in person. There are a couple from Canada that I love dearly and consider them as my own parents :) Have you ever met your chat friends in real?? How was it?? Was it a good or bad experience for you??

I have done it a few times. I could not really say it was good or bad. Some were just typical. People are people wherever you meet them. Cheers!!

Hii always_natalia!!! This topic is really close to my heart. I've been very fortunate to make some really true friends on the internet. We meet whenever we get a chance to visit each others 'city. I have some really good friends online and I'm glad we met up. We shared similar interests and so meeting each other was a pleasant experience. It has strengthened our friendship. Its not just one,but 3-4 such friends whom I've met and i can proudly call them as one of my treasured friends. The best part of this friendship was ,we had no preconceived notions of each other when we started interacting on the net. Gradually we were comfortable in each others company and took our friendship to more realistic levels. Internet ,here has been really a boon. Knowing people from different places without a face to face contact in the first place is a risk as people say. But for me it has turned out to be one rewarding experience!!!

Sure! Actually I've met one online friend already. She visited me in my house with her Mom and Aunt. We have a great time together though it was only a short time. Because they left after a few hours. But of course if given a chance I'd like to meet all of my online friends. I guess it's fun to build friendships over the internet.
