Have you ever had somebody say lies about you on the internet?

Hey there kids, I have a question, recently I found out that some creepy old dude was saying on craigslist that i had sold him a bad laptop. Now I know that it's a lie, he knows its a lie and the readers of my blog know it's a lie, but i still don't get why he did it. I don't know this guy, he had know right to post what he posted. so my question is, have you ever had anyone do that to you and what did you do about it.

Not that I know of. So, I didn't do anything about it.
People can say what they want to on the internet and usually get away with it. Sometimes people can be rather juvenile.

You could always gather evidence and sue for defamation of character and get some money out of it. Then you can buy a brand new laptop!
Next time, sell on eBay where there are some solid transaction resolution methods.
