I make this all the time for my residents in the retirement home that I work in. And they really like it. Elbow macaroni ( use whatever amount you need ) Buttered casserole dish Sharp Cheese Velveta cheese Mozzerella (optional ) Butter Black pepper Milk Boil macoroni till al-denta, in another pot add the cheeses as much as you like the cheesier the better, and add some pepper.Add milk accordingly to make it creamy. I don't use flour or bread crumbs. Toss macoroni with some butter and add the melted cheese, then put it into a buttered casserole dish, this will help with an easy cleanup later. Place in a 325 oven for about 15 minutes, any longer than that will dry out the macoroni and cheese, however when I make it at home I never put it in the oven as it changes the flavor. I like it straight out of the pan with some stewed tomatoes on the side, so I can mix it in if I want. If you don't put it in the oven it is much creamier.

I love my Macaroni and Cheese. Ingredients 1 lb of elbows 1 package of Kraft Extra Sharp cheddar cheese milk butter breadcrumbs Boil 1 lb of elbows but before it gets adente Butter pan Ccut cheese in squares One layer of cooked elbows One layer of cheese spread out continue this process till you run out of macaroni top layer with cheese dribble milk over each piece of cheese then spread breadcrumbs all over bake at 350 till golden brown. Enjoy! You can double the recipe depending on how much you want to make I usually use 2lbs of macaroni and 2 packages of cheese so we can have leftovers.

My recipe is similar, though I use less butter, maybe 2 tablespoons, a couple tablespoons of flour, then add 2- 2 1/2 cups of milk, boil, then add the cheese and cook until melted. I usually use a mix, consisting of mostly cheddar and American cheese, though I'll throw in whatever I've got on hand. Then when it's in the baking dish, I sprinkle some bread crumbs and fresh grated parmesan cheese on top. It is so yummy!!
