Is an AVATAR important here in Mylot?

Hi everyone, just curious here. Does having uploaded an avatar important here in mylot for people to get more interested to participate in your discussion that you have created?

Certainly it is necessary but most of them may not prefer but majority of them having Avatars to attract the users and get many responses from them.
