Global recession is the new thing to be talked about. So in times of recession every thing seems to be going awry and new things just dont pickup sale and global demand is low, Does it has serious impact on the people who are self employed

I think the self-employed are actually at less of a risk of recession issues the people with corporate jobs; many people I know in the corporate world are living in fear of losing their jobs if they haven't already.

On the contrary I think its people who have jobs that are highly affected with the recession rather than self employed people. Even though the markets are not fairing very well but individuals who are in business have an advantage because companies now do not have the capacity to look after its investors because of the interest rates, and less individuals investing choosing rather to venture of on their own because costs are minimal. However those that are employed are simply under the control of companies which these days havent got a bright future. I believe this is na era where everybody will resort to being self employed as its a much safer and managable route than being employed... Hope I make sense? happy my lotting
