my dog has gone blind you can see the white covering his eyes is he suffering

my dog has cushing disease, the vet said it is not the cause of his blindness he is 14 yrs. old but his blindness came on so fast also he has gone deaf,, all this in a couple months, i feel so bad for him banging into everything is he suffering,and should i put him to sleep.the vet.said he is very healthy otherwise.his, medication for his cushings disease,is islysodren,mitotane 500 mg

It's hard to tell... I hope you'll find someone in here who have been through something similar and can eventually help you. If he's healthy then I don't think he's suffering physically, but you need to try to understand if his blindness is affecting his happiness and state of mind in any way. You need to try and understand what are his feelings... {{{Hugs}}} to you and your dog.
