Did you ever attempt at writing a poem?

Hello there cudamani! I attempt a lot of times writing poems in english form. Tagalog is my native language but I find myself writing poems more in the english language. I think writing in different forms of language is good for us to improve our writing skills in terms of us being artistic. But I think the form of language you write in does not really matter. What really matters is how you let loose the mood of the reader who is reading it and how you execute your words in your poem. :)

Hello cudamani!!! Well I have the same experience. I have written number of songs in Nepali language and Newari languages(the languages of Nepal) but I have never written in English language. Very few time I have attempted to write the lyrics in English, but I mostly end writing nothing very remarkable and leave it. Only if I convert the song written in my language, then it becomes an English lyrics by me. So I have attempted, but failed till today. May be because I didn't give the keen interest towards it. But I am thinking to write in English too, I hope when I will be in nice mood, I will surely write in English too... Rather then poems I tend to write the lyrics for the composition of songs only. And I compose them myself... Keep writing...and keep posting...happy mylotting...

I have written poems, more than a few. My favorite format is Sonnet, though I do like writing more of a poetic short story as well. My works aren't foreveryone as the language is at a high college level but I hope to publish them someday, maybe along with some of my art in a book... something like that.

I have written numerous poems and hope to one day write a poetry book. One of my poems was published in a book of Poetry by many different poets.

i have been a poem lover,i enjoy the course of the create the poem,but i have less mood to write at present age,i don't konw why ,may be we are growing more,the writing passion is less and less.
