Dog as a baby

I understand what you meant. My yellow Labrador came to my house when she was 1 month old, I can still remember when she just came in to my house, she was a bit nervous, and looked around quietly. But, just after a while, she started to run around and played with us. We treated her like our little baby too, fed her milk when she was still young. When she grew up, we started to feed her dog food, brought her for training, educated her, etc. When she's naughty, we need to teach her to be good too. She made us laugh and made us angry sometimes, of course most of the time, we really have good time with her. It's really like bringing up a child, and she seems like understand us too. She's going to be two years old soon, but she still likes to play with us. What a naughty dog!

I have 2 dogs & 2 cats. I've had pets for over 45 years. Not being blessed with children, my pets ARE my children. I talk to them just like I do to humans. I correct them much the same as I would a child. So, yes, I treat them as I would my child.

I have a dog which has been with me for many years. And yes, she is like a child and a friend in the house. Taking care of her everyday, feeding her food, bathing her, playing with her, etc. And had her bed set up for her. All these stuffs is like taking care of a small kid. I believe most of the dog owners treat their dogs well and treat them as their small little child too.
