have you ever had a satisfying day?

yesterday was one such day for me. being a gemini, it is absolutely impossible for me to stay focussed on one particular job. i just cannot keep my mind to any particular job and end up finishing half of this and that.
so, yesterday, seeing the pathetic state of my room, which resembled more of a laundry, i decided to clean up the mess.
it took three hours, but i was able to finish it. and the greatest reward was the totally cleaned up room bright and nice. i hope i can maintain it.
although i was exhausted, it was quite satisfactory because i managed to complete one chore.
have you had any such experience?

i had such a day the other week. the house had been looking pretty rough, and so the saturday before mother's day i set to work cleaning up. my husband took the boys outside and they played and cleaned up the garage, and i spent the day inside vacuuming, dusting, mopping and doing laundry. by the end of the day the house was completely clean, top to bottom! i was so proud of myself and i felt so satisfied that i had gotten it all done! now the hard part is keeping it that way! lol i always say that i am going to try and keep up with the housework so it doesn't get out of control, but something ends up happening and it just becomes a mess again. so far i have been doing a great job, so i am still feeling pretty satisfied with myself! :)

well, i hope you are able to keep up the good work. i know it is tough maintaining this clean surrroundings, especially with kids around. but i guess, that's the challenge. but really, there is nothing to beat that satisfied and proud feeling that comes after we clean up our house! great job, friend.
