Why when I try to post a long response it disappears?

Ok two times now I have had this happen. I just tried to respond to a discussion and my response was quite long as it gave direct advice to the person that posted the discussion along with a medium short story about my personal experience on the situation.
I clicked submit response and POOF it was gone. I had just spent probably 15 minutes writing this response. I like to reply with things I have a passion about or personal experience about and share my experience but I can't because when I do it completely disappears. Why does this happen is it a system glitch or something? I looked in the discussion guidelines and I didn't see anything objectionable about having a long response, on the contrary everything says they want good quality responses, that's what I do and 2 times now POOF it was for nothing!
The first time I had spent 2 hours researching and looking up links whilst writing the response and when I went to submit it it disappeared. Now since I can't copy and paste yet you can imagine how frustrating and discouraging this is for me :(
Should I contact mylot directly about this ?
Sorry to complain but I don't know why this is happening.

It rarely happens to me but it is really annoying when it does. You can't even back arrow and retrieve what you typed. Yep, I'd report it.

It also happened to me,it is really annoying.i have to type the same words once and once again last day when i tried to started a discussion because of this .i think it is just a system glitch ,but there is nothing we can do about it.the only solution i think is posting hard until we have the qualification to paste.

Man it's so frustrating. I'm glad I'm not the only one it's happening to though. Maybe I should go ahead and let Mylot know it's happening do you think?
Either that or just keep my responses shorter for now :( how sad because I really did have a good response both times and of course when responding a long one like that I don't remember everything I typed word for word so to retype it just wouldn't be the same :(.
Well I guess my best choice is to keep my responses shorter then. Or maybe I could type it in another program like word,.. then retype it in here that way if I lose it I still have it in word and can try to make it smaller to not worry about losing it?
Bah I'm so confused LOL!

Sure,hope mylot figure it out as soon as possible.But before this,we shoule be more careful when we type,i found that every time this happened,i touched some other keys like 'enter'.Maybe there are any other reasons,it's confusing.Have a nice day,my friend.:)

This has happened to me in ttwo ares:
-responding
-Messaging
The thing just vanishes off and you land right in your home page. I really don't like this. Maybe it some data transfer problem.

I would because I've read where its happened more than once and it has done that to me as well. I was responding to three different people one day and the reponse ended up all in one response. I write on myLot quite frequently and every time I respond it stops and says not responding then it will pick it back up and some times add stuff that I didn't write.

Wow that is odd! I have never had that happen? Weird indeed. Thank god I haven't had any of my responses disappear like that for awhile now. I did report it and it seemed to get better after that. You should contact them too about your problem, that's worse than stuff disappearing in my opinion.
