my cat got hit and killed by car yesterday..?

well yesterday when i got home from college, i yelled for my cat for 15mins. he always stays by my house and i just knew something happened. i came inside and my parents came inside a few minutes later, the neighbours came outside and told him that the guy at the end of the street was flying down the street , hit my cat and kept going. they put him in a box for me. i'm devistated andmy question is, should i say something to the guy or write him a note and leave it on his van? i want to let him know that my cat meant a whole lot to me and that it pisses me off that he kept going and that he was also flying down the street, what do you think? i cannot stop crying, this week he turned 1yr old. he was siamese and i'm just heartbroken.

I am sorry to hear about your cat, I think yous should tell him about the condition of your cat if you cant, but at least you should write him, give him some advice or suggestion, when "you drive please be careful try not to hit any kind of pets, how if your pets been hit by other people"?
And if your cat injured I suggested you to bring it to the hospital and asked to the man the cost of the hospital.

skirankumar, I am so sorry to hear about your beloved cat. I'm crying right now with you. It's devestating when we lose our pets. They are our family. Some people just don't realize that. I HATE it when they say, it was just a cat or it was just a dog. What if they had a small child that was hit and killed? Would it be right to say, it was just a kid? I believe not. I think you should tell the hit and run van owner just how hurt you are.
My sincere hope for you is that time will heal your wound.
My thoughts are with you.
