I've noticed that more and more I am seeing that logo on different sites on the web. And some bloggers are asking there readers to follow them on Twitter. Can someone explain to me how it works, and what makes it different from any other site that you chat on?

Well Never really knew what twitter was either but guess I know after reading the previous post lol. But it sounds like another facebook or myspace wich I probally wont join since I dont care about these sites. But the only time I heard of it was on espn and thought it was some sports site lol.

Some of the well known bloggers and big sites appear to be using it as another way to stay connected with there readers and affiliates. I know next to nothing about twitting, but who knows maybe there is a little bit more too it than facebook or myspace...8o/

Twitter is a new online networking site of sorts. A user creates an account and they are given a profile. You then make frequent Updates to you "Status" message to keep people informed about what your doing throughout the day. You can "follow people" which means get updates to their posts, and people can "follow". I signed up for an account a little while back, but it seemed to be in it's infancy. Features did not work properly, and at times I couldn't update my status because the system was busy .. too many people were twittering I suppose..lol.. Now that is seems to be growing in popularity I may give it another shot. Its basically like a site full of Myspace Status Updates. I am sure they have some other features, but that is supposedly the main aspect. ~Iedyn
