Hello fwangaa. It is true indeed that if we make a plan, then we are supposed to carry it through to the end. Otherwise it is hard for us to make some achievements. Therefore I am on your side on this viewpoint. I have some achievements in life because I managed to march towards them once they were set. So persistence is of great importance so far as one's aim is to be reached. Good luck to you, friend.

yeah man, i think i see what you're saying... little bit of a language barrier going on... but anyway, yeah, "Scheme" makes it sound pretty shady, so i call them Goals. and you are definitely right, if you focus on a goal for tens of years, you'll master that goal completely. tens of years is a lot of time to spend on something, a lot of people don't even spend a year consciously doing anything. i pin things on the wall that i would like to complete that i haven't yet, and i also pin things on the wall that i have completed to motivate me to continue to go after my current goals, because one day or another if you keep working on a goal, one day you'll wake up and you'll have or be what it is you have dreamed of for so long. accepting your wish when it knocks at your door is sometimes what stops people from achieving their goals, which is crazy but true. i myself have struggled with this, and a current goal of mine is to figure this out.
