Well you don't say how old the children are but I would say get up before them take a shower and get dressed. This will make you feel a whole lot better and more prepared for the day. Then if they are still not awake have a bite to eat. The most important thing to do is be organized with your house chores and the children's schedules. Then they need to be in bed at a certain time each day. Maybe one day especially in the summer time they can stay up a little later. But when they go to bed if you have been organized during the day then you have a few hours for yourself. Good Luck to you remember being a mother is the hardest job in the world. Take care!

I feel for you but organization is the main thing that will improve your situation. I had two daughters and a full time job outside of the house. If I didn't live with a schedule and organization I would have been put in the looney bin.

The key in my life is being organized and staying on a schedule, my children are on a strict schedule/routine and I clean as I go. I do not leave a room a mess, we clean the kitchen after each meal, nothing is ever left in the sink, nothing is ever left on the floor. The kids have to clean their rooms every night before bed time, their beds are made every morning before they go downstairs, and so is mine. I clean the bathroom right after I shower or take a bath and I have a schedule for laundry. I vacuum every other day at the same time, clean the hardwoods major once a week and touch ups every day. Schedule and routine. You can do it

I am a mother of two children, in the beginning there is alot of work but do not worry the children grow and they start being alot more independant. But it is also important to take time with your hubby, if you do not have a babysitter then try to do something when your children are sleeping, whether it is talking, watching a movie or just having a romantic dinner for the two of you.
