Have You Every Been Surprised By The Responses To Your Discussions?

Hello everyone,
About a month ago, I posted a discussion here on myLot just for the heck of it. It wasn't a pressing issue or advice on any topic, it was just a fun question. I was very pleasantly surprised by not only the number of responses but the fun that many members seemed to have. So I thought I'd be cute and post a similar discussion - different topic but same idea. Guess how many responded?????.......ZERO. Ha, go figure. Has this happened to you. I actually think it's quite funny.

Hi, betlynfrnds! Well, I experienced that on one of my discussions then at last, it received one response, I got surprised because someone dig it from the old discussions. Maybe your discussion did not caught the attention of the members or they are not familiar with your topic. The topic must be interesting and the title should be catchy if you want to receive a lot of responses. So the next time, you will never experience zero response again. I'm beginning to see that now. The topic that got a lot of response was about pizza. The one that got zero was buffalo wings and tenders. I know people love to talk about food but I guess the wings didn't fly. HAAAA, I just made that up.
At any rate, I was hoping that the topic of kayaking was more popular on this forum. I've been doing a little kayaking with my boyfriend and would like to share interests with others. Oh well, not a problem.
