Selling your own products

I am making all different kinds of things, like books, crochet cherries and flowers and more. I've been sewing a lot. And now I'm thinking about putting up own little store somewhere. Have any of you done something like this? How did you do it? Online or offline? What sites do you use and so on? I don't know where to start. Is it better to set up your own website or put your stuff online on a site dedicated to selling items? Thanks in advance for your response :)

Yes I do. I usually selling the preowned books or other stuffs at ebay, etsy, or multiply site. You can set up at the free blog site and promote your products through online. The only hassle for this online selling is to take pictures and writing description details of each product you are selling. If I were you, I suggest you try the ebay first or any auction sites, if it earns you well, then focus there. If not, try to register the multiply.com or blogspot.com. If not too, then you can open the website which you need to pay the domain name and hosting. Goodluck!=) Hope it helps. If not, you can PM me so I can help you.
