Any members of Associated Content?

Ive been thinking about joining this site but I don't see where the money is at. They pay 1.50 for 1000 page views.... This has gotta be tough when the top people on there are between 1-6 million. Think about it... most of those members have been there longer then a year but say you did this stuff for a year and you got 6 million page views thats... 9 grand a year... way below poverty... no one could live off that... so not even the top people are making enough to live off of. Is there another way of making money here? Anyone have any tips?
