What is the most chocolate you can consume in one day without getting sick? I can eat, I think, 5 whole chocolate bars in one day without my stomach rebelling.

5 whole chocolates are okay for me as long as they're with almonds, or cashew nuts, or even raisins.

I agree with you there. Sometimes you just gotta have flavors in your chocolate. It seems that nuts and raisins enhance the flavor of the chocolate.

Not sure but in my college days I discovered something that I have used several times since. I was feeling a little under the weather and I really was looking for an excuse not to go to classes the following day. I went to the mall and bought a pound of m&m's. Ate them all. Figured that would make me sick. Went to bed and the next morning I felt terrific. I've done this several times since then with the same result. I think the combination of sugar and chocolate gives me an energy boost. Either that or it creates an environment in my stomach that scares away bad microbes.

Wow! I have never heard of doing that making a person feel better, but I will definitely try that the next time I feel under the weather! Amazing! Thanks for pointing that out to me! And, besides, I LOVE M&M's! What better excuse than to eat an entire one-pound bag of them in one sitting! Thanks!

Two regular sized milk chocolate bars is my limit, and about six small dark chocolates, or four dark chocolate bars. My problem is not getting sick, it is getting cold sores. And I do not like chocolate too sweet. If it were not for the cold sores, I could eat probably six or seven chocolate bars, but not all at once. I would get sick and tired of all that chocolate very quickly.

Ah, yes. I completely forgot about chocolate causing cold sores. Oh, but isn't it true that something in milk helps to prevent cold sores? I forget the ingredient, exactly. So, I guess one could devour chocolate and then drink a lot of milk? Just a thought. Oh, yes, and one definitely does NOT want to get sick and tired of chocolate. That would be a calamity! No, no, no, no, no, let's not go there! Got to keep the chocolate flowing! LOL

I love chocolate and I've eaten chocolates till I feel sick, lol. I think I can also eat 4-5 bars of chocolates without feeling sick or maybe more, . I wasn't chocoholic before and I just started to love it when I get married and maybe because my Husband always buy some every week and that's because he loves chocolates also.

You are very lucky that you have a chocoholic husband, and both of you can devour chocolates together like that. If I ever get married someday, I will have to marry a man who is addicted to both chocolate and coffee so I can have easier access to my "hits" and "fixes," as it's easier to keep it going when one's husband keeps bringing it in. And, one would feel a whole lot less guilty for it, as well. LOL

I have never tried to have more than 1 chocolate bar in a day. My favorite chocolate bar is Hersey's special dark or any dark chocolate - it's the best. How about you what's your favorite chocolate bar?

My favorite chocolate bar is definitely the Dagoba xocolatl. It is rich dark chocolate with chilies and nibs. It is delicious! I could eat and eat them nonstop!

3-4 chocolate bars is still a pretty good amount. I guess that you have never really gone "hog wild" on chocolate like I have, then. LOL
