recently, i watched from the news that people in cambodia eat rats as if they are chicken. it is a almost daily dish on their table due to its vast availability and low price. most of them are farmers and by capturing the rats, they can keep their plantations from being harmed by the rats, eat them and sell the excess to earn an extra income. many of us cannot fathom consuming such animals. i heard from my friend that in china, they have this dish whereby a live duck will be placed onto a hot plate. the duck will then jump about because of the heat and its feet will slowly cook. when its feet are cooked, with the duck still alive, they will be cut off to be eaten on the spot while the rest of the duck will be used for soup. that is actually just sick for me to even think of. what is the most exotic food you've ever eaten?

That just sounds so gross! Just think about that poor duck and what it is going through. It really make me sick to even think about it, not even to mention eating rats. I've never eaten anything really exotic I don't think. The only two things that I have eaten that we normally don't eat is soft shelled turtle and alligator tail.
