Having a Yard Sale Can Bring in Extra Money

Hello all,
I had a yard sale over the weekend and I made almost $100. Saturday was the better day and I learned that around here Sundays are not a good day for this.
I live in a mobile home park and they do this once a year (my first time). It would be nice if you could have one any time that you want. Not only is it extra money but, you also get rid of stuff.
If you haven't thought about doing this now is your chance. Summer is just beginning!

$100 just for selling some things you really didn't want anyway? Not a bad deal at all! And it's kind of like recycling too... you really didn't want the stuff, and rather than throw it in the trash, you sold it to people who could put the items to use, rather than you send it to the dump.

Yes, just for stuff that I didn't want anymore. You know what they say, One person's trash is another person's treasure!

That's wonderful! Congratulations on your earnings. I love having yard sales. We usually always have one or two a year. The money really comes in handy for a lot of different things. Last year I used the money I made so that we could go on vacation for a few days in the summer.

People are allowed here in the Netherlands to sell their stuff on queen's day just along the street. It's very cool as there's always something available to your liking and indeed you can earn some money doing so.
