Don't talk to strangers. How many times have you heard that jargon? Well, it seems like it was never out of season. Really, are you wary of who you meet? If ever that you meet somebody for the first time and he smiles at you, will you befriend him and smile back or you ignore his smile and think that he's planning something sinister...beware?

Well when i meet someon for the first time im civil but always cautious as you dont know anything about them. If someone smiled at me i would smile back and maybe talk to them about the weather or the time if im at a bus stop with them if not i would just keep walking and ignore them.

I really hate hearing people say 'dont talk to strangers'! Everyone that you are now friends with or now know was at one point a stranger! Of course we should be cautious with people we dont know. But it seems like it has become popular to believe that everyone is a terrible person until proven otherwise. I think that is a miserable way to live! You will always be worried and always be stressed. I prefer to think that everyone is wonderful until proven otherwise! It makes the day much happier - for everyone. Sometimes when you take the time to say 'hello' or smile at someone it can completely change the course of the day. I think that is how we should live! Every stranger should be given a huge, genuine smile. Everyone should be given a warm greeting! That would truly make the world better!

I have heard that jargon many times. When i meet a stranger on the street or somewhere and he smiles at me, of course i will smile back to him. I never have too much negative thinking to stranger.

I saw the title of this discussion right after submitting my topic "Don't talk to strangers when your mouth is full". I am thinking if there is a relation between the two? :)
