Hi Mylotters, my question today is about friend accept in Mylot. I was wondering how many of you have deny or been deny from someone? and why? I never deny any friend who request to add me as their friend at all. ACCEPT is a nice way to do so, but I seem so many of friends that I requested are just pending, even I see them active in mylot. I dont know why we need to choose who to be your friend on the internet. to me, I don't think about that at all. If I dont like them then I just ignore. Of course in my real life, I would choose who can be my friends. What about you? do you choose who to be your friend, both in and out side life? plz share

I too receive friend requests often. I don't even visit their profile. I'll just accept them. We need not bother to add new friends in mylot. Because, we are not gonna loose anything. I have sent many friend requests and none were denied.

Thank you for selecting mine as a best response. I find you to be more gentle and loving. Whenever I interact with you, I find you genuine. You rate others positive and help them improve. That's good! Keep it up!

I used to add anyone who requested, trying to be nice, but in the last year or so, I started checking the person's profile to see what types of discussions they participate in, and what items are on their profile (i.e.: affiliate programs, etc.) If a person has too many affiliate links, I know they are only looking to make money off of me/spam me. If a person participates in too many petty discussions, or discussions that are too political, and doesn't display a neutral opinion, I won't add them. I'm a Christian; however, some of my "friends" on here are Christian, and some are not. In fact, I just added someone who calls themselves an athiest, but because they are honestly looking for the truth, and because they don't look down on those who ARE believers (they show a neutral response to people's posts, rather than an arrogance), I added them.

That's make sense. I never think about that at all but this might be the cure. Thank you for showing me the way of it.

I hate to admit it, but I have denied others requesting my friendship before. Of course this was back when I was still new to the site. Now I don't deny anyone! I don't know if anyone has ever denied my friend request as I've never paid attention to such a thing! LOL I have however noticed that some people take longer than others to accept/deny a friend request. I don't know why this is. As for myself I accept it as soon as I see it. Happy mylotting!
