i noticed that we have so many lights being used. And of course that means more electricity bill at night. like in our living room , we have at least 4 lights when we turn on the lights. and since we or my family don't stay in one place. we tend to open the lights wherever we are. one person is on the or his room. that means 3 lights in one room cause it is like chandelier where there is more one light . then if someone is eating at the kitchen then that means one light. so we are turning off and on the light as we go from one place of the house to another. my auntie noticed that we have so many lights when in her home they don't use that much light. yeah i have noticed that too. that in a way give me some problems on how to save energy.

Hmm, I have two bedrooms with one kitchen and one bathroom in my house. We don't have any lobby. We use one light for outside. One each for bedrooms, one for kitchen and one for bathrooms but then again: 1. Bedrooms has Tube light of 40W 2. Kitchen has a CFL of 20W 3. Bathroom has a zero watt bulb. 4. outside bulb is rarely used and it is 100W. At a time we use one tubelight and one kitchen light most of the time. If I need to work on PC then we have to use another tube light.

i am a simple person. if i could have the choice i would want to change things here. but i am not the one who decides. if i can, i will take off that light with three bulbs hanging on it on one room. so i will just use a flourescent light . then in the living room i will change it to ordinary lights. since our kitchen is not any more inside the house, i will put it back to the place it was which is just before the bed room. the kitchen is now in what used to be a side garden of the house. so i have to get out the hosue but still part of our house ground to get to the kitchen or gas range. but the table for eating is still inside the house though. but still it is used to be also back of the house that is not part of the house after some years. anyways, to make the story short it really needs light if i need to get something cause every thing is just not in one place. the gas range is far from the kitchen table. that is why if i need water to drink i need to get to one place. then i need to get a salt if i left it on the outside kitchen i have to go back outside and turn on the light. so like we have relocated dour kitchen twice.

We have two lights in the living room, two in the kitchen and one in each of our three room and of course one in each bathroom. We usually will turn on two light in the living room at night and the rest we will only turn on when we need to use the room (to save on the electricity bills) Hee hee.

great that you know how to save some energy from home. i think that we don't have to put or turn the light all at the same. it hurts the eyes when it is too bright. so i prefer few light turned on or just one specially if i don't need to go around the house any more and will need just to settle down in front of the computer. or tv. or just lay down to bed.

I just got curious and started counting all the light fixtures in my house.I have about twenty lights in my home including the bath rooms.Daily we switch on at least five of them in the evenings and the others when needed.

I only use one lamp per room only when I'm in that particular room. I also use The energy star sprial lightbulbs that are suppose to save on your energy bills. I have them in each lamp and each ceiling fan light.

We use 6 lights in our house, or even optional, on the gate, living room, mini kitchen 2 in the bedroom, comfort room, we use lights if it is very dim and fast night and if we needed, to save energy, after we use the light we automatically turn it off, to maintain a cold room, and comfortable.
