What are the ways to drive traffic to your blog?

If you ask me, I am so in love with stumbleupon right now. I have some stuff there and the things I discover there from others are also amazing. I didn't realize the coolness and awesomeness of this site until I joined it. Been hearing lots about it but didn't know it was that good. I got lots of traffic from stumbleupon based from my findings. As for another site that I'm on which is called technorati, it doesn't quite get lots of traffic from me. But then again, it's because I'm not as active there as on stumbleupon so I might not know the maximum traffic potential.

try joining entrecard or adgitize me. entrecard will give you traffic if you drop your card on theirs, they also drop on you.in simpler terms, people with the entrecard widget which you visit, will visit your blog too in return.

I must really be a novice at this I didn't even realize you can create traffic to your blogs :) I guess I am still learning this whole internet thing.

Yes there are tons of ways to fetch traffic for your blog and blog carnivals is definitely not on my list. Here I go. 1) Make sure you post original and unique content. 2) Post it on regular basis according to your own schedule. 3) Add your blog to all top blog directories like Technorati,blogcatalog,mybloglog etc 4) Comment on other relevant blogs with a link back you your blog. 5) Participate on forums with your blog link in your signature. 6) Do some ON-Page as well as OFF-Page SEO to receive traffic from search engines. 7) Alert your friends and family members via email when ever you update your blog. And there are many other ways. Only the best blogs receive traffic from a wide variety of sources because they diversify in their efforts and approach. Good luck !
