Havent women today become much more demanding?

Actually I think that women today have just come to the conclusion that they can no longer truely depend on the sole income of her husband to pay the bill and provide for the family. Not becuase he does not try but because things are more expensive. Due to this women do not feel like they should have to accept making less money then her male counterpart when she is not only having to work out of the home but also go home and take care of the kids and have dinner on the table for her husband. Todays woman expects respect because she has earned it in her ability to work the two full time jobs she successfully holds (home and carreer) I do not think that she is any more energetic than the woman of the past, instead she has to spread her talents into many more areas than she had to before. She is more powerfull though. She no longer has to depend on her husband or father to ensure her well being or safty because she is now able to do so on her own. The modern woman has found new horizons, but we must ask our selves if it would be better if she could make the choice to stay at home and care for her children. Right now many women do not have the choice, they must work. True power comes when she is able to choose. That has not happened yet for all women.

Woman today are exposed to more things and have more responsibility. That's why we become more demanding. I don't view that as a bad thing. It is important to know our own right and should be able to protect ourselves. Demanding to have equal status is not being rebellious, we just want to be respect more than before.

Modern women got much more responsibility than those in old times, and they should be responsible not only for their own but also for their entire family. Sure we should become more demanding, cause we deserve it without any doubt.
