How much do you spend a week at the food store.

On average we spend 200.00 a week, I buy a ton of fresh fruit and veggies as well as organic foods. My children drink only organic milk, etc. I get all of my meat once a month from the meat market and I spend $135.00 on meat a month. So for the month I spend on average $1000.00 on food. I do not think that is too bad, considering I have a family of five and a husband that eats cereal from sun up to sun down.

With my family, we spend about $90 a week on groceries; there's just three of us. We are somewhat price/value concious, too.

We shop every two weeks and spend an average of 100.00 a week - 400.00 a month. There are 3 of us and a toddler. We prepare economical healthy meals for the most part. We also plan a menu for each day of the week.

Hi Meandmy3, The majority of the time there is only myself and my son at home and to be quite honest I haven't done a big food shop since before Christmas but I would estimate at around £50 per week and that is mainly fresh produce. Intend to do a big shop next week and that will probably be well over £150. huggles. Ellie :D

This all depends on what I have going on for the rest of the week or what I have to purchase on that particular visit. On average I spend about one hundred to a hundred and 50 dollars at the market. I purchase juice, meats, snacks and things that are needed around the house for the foods that we are going to make. I don't think this is bad because it feeds a family of four.
